FROM THE JOURNAL

The stories between the destinations. Not every part of travel fits neatly into an itinerary or a list of things to do. Sometimes it's a story I don't want to forget, something travel taught me, a place I can't stop thinking about, or a trip I'm still dreaming about taking. This is where those stories live.

LATEST FROM THE JOURNAL

Stories, thoughts and a little bit of life along the way.

🌍 FARM GIRL, BIG WORLD

Why I keep wanting to see what's on the other side of the map.

Growing up in a small town doesn't make me want to leave it behind. It just makes me curious about what else is out there.

🧳 WHY I KEEP TAKING THE TRIP

There will always be a reason to wait.

Time. Money. Work. Family. Life. I've learned that sometimes you have to stop waiting for the perfect time and simply decide to go.

❤️ THE PEOPLE MAKE THE TRIP

The places matter. But so do the people standing beside you.

Some of my favorite travel memories aren't really about where we were at all.

📖 A STORY WORTH TELLING

Not every travel memory needs an itinerary. Some deserve a story.

SOMETIMES THE BEST PART WASN'T ON THE ITINERARY

We spend so much time planning a trip, yet the moments we remember most are often the ones we never planned. The ones that made us laugh, surprised us, challenged us, or simply stuck with us.

Those are the stories I want to keep—because sometimes the best souvenir is a really good story.

Some travel traditions are meaningful. Ours involves turning ourselves into trolls.

💭 CURRENTLY THINKING ABOUT...

✈️ WHERE I WANT TO GO

A place I can't stop thinking about—even though there's absolutely no trip planned. Yet.

📖 WHAT I'M PLANNING

The trip currently covered in saved places, screenshots and way too many open browser tabs.

CURRENT STATUS: Poland ✓                 Oktoberfest. 🍺✓

❤️ WHAT I'M MISSING

A place, meal, moment or feeling from a trip I'd happily go back to tomorrow.

ONE LAST THOUGHT

You don't have to travel the whole world to have a life full of stories. Go somewhere you've never been. Go back somewhere you love. Take the wrong turn. Stay for another drink. Laugh when the plan falls apart. When something becomes a story you know you'll tell again...write it down.
