I guess you could say my cousin Kim and I have short attention spans and apparently need to entertain ourselves while traveling. Somewhere along the way, we discovered a Snapchat filter that turned us into trolls—and naturally, it became a very important part of the trip.
From that point on, almost everywhere we went followed the same routine: take the nice picture... then take the troll picture.
Some people might call it stupid. Some might call us weird. And some will probably never understand why two grown women found this so ridiculously funny. We’re okay with that.
By the end of the trip, we had beautiful photos of the places we visited—and an entire collection of completely ridiculous troll pictures that still makes us laugh every time we look at them.
And really, isn’t that part of traveling with someone you love? Seeing incredible places, making memories, and having inside jokes that make absolutely no sense to anyone else.
Every destination gets a nice photo. And then... this happens.
